Monster Artifact EV, Curio drop rates, and other balancing numbers may change mid-season. Changes (buffs or nerfs) to reward EV will be announced when the change goes live.
New Features may be released during the middle of a season that affect gameplay, earning potential, core game systems, etc.
If we do not catch a item duplication exploit in time to mitigate its impact, we may roll back the game economy to a previous point in time.
Exploiting a Bug Bounty may result in your ineligibility to receive any rewards you may have earned. We may also ban your Cambria account and take other actions as appropriate.
FAQ ⁉️
What happens if game servers crash or are taken down?
The season will have a simulation timer that the Cambria team will be able to start, pause, and resume. If any of the game worlds goes down, the simulation timer will be paused, freezing all game and economy-related functionality. After a pause of the season, we will post in Discord with an updated start time a minimum of 4 hours before the season resumes. The season will be open until the simulation timer hits 0, after which all rewards-related data will be snapshot and archived in cold storage. The 5 days of the season is a projection assuming no season pauses.
What happens if an exploit or dupe is found and exploited?
We have a variety of systems in place to detect anomalous economic activity in real time. If an exploit or item duplication method is discovered, the simulation will be paused. After investigation, depending on the impact of the exploit, the team may rollback all game data to a previous point in time.
What happens to my account after the season is over?
Gold Rush accounts are seasonal and do not persist past each season. However, all achievements, leaderboard placements, and other player data are snapshot at the end of each season, and will be imported back into the full Cambria MMO when it releases.
