# Cheat Sheet ## Resources

During Gold Rush, you will extract and refine resources gathered from skilling. Throughout the game world, there are resource nodes of varying tiers. The higher the tier of resource, the more dangerous the area where it spawns. ## Inventory, Item Weight

Most items that you can loot have weight. Your inventory is not limited by the number of item slots you have but is limited by the amount of weight you can carry. \ \ Being over your max weight capacity will result in negative effects that will limit your mobility and make you a target for [Roaming Threats.](#roaming-threats) ## Trading Post (Grand Exchange)

The Trading Post / Auction House can be found located near the bank in the Capital City center, as well as near the bank in New Mortis. Here you are able to place buy and sell orders for items you loot while adventuring for other players to purchase. ## Durability & Repair

All weapons, armor, and tools have a durability level. This level gradually decreases as these items are used. When the durability of an item is depleted it can no longer be equipped or used.\ \ To repair an item, you can visit a Scrapping Table (found near the Skilling buildings) and repair either a single item or all of your repairable items, in exchange for Coins. ## General Store

The General Store is run by Gokhan and can be found in both major cities. They offer a place to sell your items quickly for Coins at the base gold value. You can also purchase items other players have sold to the General Store, with a markup. ## Coca Leaves and Experience Lamps

There are items in Gold Rush that can help you gain an edge over your fellow players by consuming them. You can find these items as drops from high tier monsters in the world. * **Coca Leaf -** Gives you a temporary speed boost at the cost of some health and your sobriety. Can be used to escape dangerous situations. * **Experience Lamp -** An expensive treasure that will allow you to gain XP in a selected skill after using it. The amount of XP gained from using a lamp is the higher of 1000 XP or your current skill level \* 30. ## Roaming Threats

Roaming Threats are grotesque creatures stirred from the corruption that destroyed the Old Empire and sunk it into the depths below. The overburdened with loot the player is, the likelier it is that they will be surprised by a Roaming Threat encounter. * **Cyclops** * **Banshees** * **Boneborne Assassin & Chanter** * **Bonebreaker (NEW!)** ## Mystery Objects

Scattered around Cambria you will find Mystery Objects. These objects can be attacked to loot the items and valuable resources inside of them. Be on the lookout for vases, crates, and more as you adventure. ## Movement & Teleportation

There are several ways to shorten your journey across the world of Cambria. These include Gate Scrolls, Obelisks, the Travel Planner, and other teleport NPCs. #### Home Teleport Players can always teleport home by hitting the "B" key - this will start a short channel that, on completion, will teleport players to their designated Home location. #### Obelisks There are 5 Obelisks scattered throughout the Wilderness Region of New Cambria. Interacting with the Obelisk will teleport you to a random other Obelisk around the map after a brief channel. #### Gate Teleports Players can use Gate Teleport Scrolls to create portals to the Capital City or New Mortis. Activating a scroll creates a portal that teleports players to the city specified by the scroll. Only one portal can exist per player at a time and they expire after 15 minutes. Portals can be destroyed by anyone. Central Portals in city centers allow players to teleport back to their placed portal, refreshing its timer. Be aware, using teleport scrolls without being adept in magic could lead to being dealt significant damage - the higher your magic level, the less likely it is for this to happen. #### Teleport Tabs Teleport Tabs are an item that instantly teleports the player to the Capital City when clicked (unless the player is teleblocked). Teleport Tabs can be used anywhere, even in Tier 5 zones. Teleport Tabs can be purchased in the Shop. #### Travel Planner Talk to Maxon in each of the major Cities to open the Travel Planner, with which you will be able to fast travel to various locations around the game world. #### Teleport NPCs Special Teleportation NPCs include * Vernon, south of the Bank - teleports to the Luminescent Ore mine * Scotty, east of the Capital near the Sawmill - teleports to the Abandoned Village, a skilling hub ## Shops

There are a total of 13 shops scattered throughout the World Map, mostly around Cities and Settlements. Shopkeepers can sell you their wares for Coins. Different shopkeepers have different types of items and equipment for sale.
