Overview

Gold Rush is a high-stakes game of risk & reward, set in the world of Cambria, where recent discoveries of Gold deposits by early explorers have attracted hordes of adventurers eager to extract a fortune from the remnants of a land devastated by an unexplained disaster.
The Viceroys of New Cambria, finance these treks into the unknown. Most adventurers do not return, but those who return do so loaded with unimaginable treasures - Ancient Artifacts and Gold Ore - items that grant Royal Favor points when turned in to the Royal Treasury with a majority of their otherworldly Luster intact.
Outside the main capital of New Cambria, the king's rule is weak - the further out an adventurer goes, the more dangerous the region and the more lucrative the rewards. Players can be attacked at any time, losing any accumulated resources and gear on death. Roaming threats abound, from both the cursed native inhabitants of the land and rival adventurers seeking easier paths to wealth.
At the end of each season, players can cash out massive grants of Blast Gold and Ethereum issued directly from the Royal Treasury, based on their Royal Favor points and accumulated XP.
Note: In this playtest, PvP will be disabled.
Note: Items gained in this playtest will not persist to Duel Arena / any other part of Cambria.
Playtest Details
For the GOLD RUSH TESTNET playtest, a total of 40,000 Blast Gold will be split amongst playtesters, based on the following criteria:

50% - XP Leaderboard - split amongst top 50 in XP per skill (14 skills total).
Equal split if you are in the top 50
Additionally, playtesters will earn Gold Rush Essence Points for participating, based on a variety of metrics of performance in game.
Time
Gold Rush Playtest #2 will last for roughly 3 days, starting Friday June 21st, at 11pm SGT / 5pm CEST / 11am ET. Depending on player progression, the playtest might be ended earlier, at the discretion of the Cambria team.
Note: Gold Rush is still very early in development. Please bear with any bugs / imbalances with this playtest - we will try to make this a fair competition but the win qualifications might not work as designed.
We have not enabled some of the onchain elements of the Charter system / energy purchases / etc. to maximize the amount of gameplay that can be tested first. This means that the design of certain game systems will not make sense, given the lack of real stakes.
If a major imbalance (dupes, exploits) is found, we will attempt to mitigate this in real time. If the imbalance is too severe, we may resort to splitting the Blast Gold prize pool in alternative ways, amongst participants.
