Day 1: Shroom Lord Bonanza

For Day 1 - the Shroom Lord boss will have 2x the usual Artifact rewards.

Additionally, try out the "Ring of Insight" (buy this from Sousin's Shop) -> equipping this Ring will give you a chance to get "Tomes of Insight" which you can sell to other players, at the cost of getting 50% less Combat XP. Tomes gives you instant Combat XP in the style of your choice (Melee, Magic, Ranged) when used. For players that want to skip the grind - you can buy these in the Trading Post to get ahead.

Patch Notes

  • Fixes Mind Control cooldown

  • Fixes a bug where maximum hitpoints kept increasing when adding a new mastery point.

  • Add slow-down effect to Instant Attack.

  • Update slow-down effect of the Frost Nova ability.

  • Update spell, special attack and mastery descriptions.

  • Reworked the Chain Whip special attacks to not be overpowered against bosses and players.

  • Fixed a bug where the Piercing Arrow mastery for ranged was not applying bleed damage.

    • Nerfed this mastery, requiring the player to hit the target successfully for it to roll on bleed chance.

  • Added Ammo Recovery mastery upgrade passive for ranged mastery.

  • Fix a bug where Evasion multiplier was incorrectly added

  • NPCs and Ground Items will spawn to the closest walkable tile if dropped or spawned on an unwalkable tile.

  • Fix XP dropdown

  • Rebalance magic spells, updated configs

  • Fixed Evasion Bonuses always showing even when not active

  • Added "Ring of Insight" to shop, Tomes of Insight

  • Fix chicken and sheep drops

  • Added a min damage amount for Mana Reversal (mageslayer bow special attack) if the anti-mage special procs

    • Deal massive damage if target recently casted a magic spell, based on the target's magic power.

  • Fixed 200+ stress interactions (50% reduced healing, persistent damage, etc.)

  • Added tooltips for Stress / Reward Index / Fatigue to explain the mechanics

  • Increased gold value of Treasure Toad

  • Disabled Defensive Skilling XP (HP + Defense from skilling) for passive skills (e.g. crafting, smithing) and Chargecrafting

  • Bolt / Arrow / Ballista bolts now produce 100 units per Metal Bar

  • Fix Falcon Sounds

  • Add Frost Nova FX

  • Add Stress Items (Strong Ale, Rabbit's Foot, Lucky Charm - that decrease stress or increase reward multiplier) to NPC drops and certain mystery objects

  • Fix Earth spell attack delay

  • Frost Nova also applies slow for root-immune targets

  • Mind Control mastery will prioritize your current target

  • Increase Frost Barrage AOE from 1 to 2 tiles

  • Extend time of Mind Control spells

  • Increased Curio earning rate

  • Decreased Run Energy regeneration

  • Coca Leaves now decreases 10 Run Energy and Prayer after it wears off

  • Prayer Potion reduced (14 prayer + 30% of max prayer)

  • Adjusted all Reward Multipliers for bosses / t4 / t5 NPCs

  • Barrens and Swamp fishing spots now exclude Trout and Cod (buff)

  • Caverns fishing spots now exclude Trout, Cod, and Carp (buff)

  • Various Weapon Buffs/Nerfs - see this docarrow-up-right for latest values

    • tl;dr nerfed dagger, buffed chainwhip/greatsword/falchion/sword/javelin

    • stone maul now has 100% armorpen on special attack

  • Buffed Auto Ballista damage

  • Broken Castigator no longer stuns on the chains attack (roots instead)
