Getting Loot

Your goal in Gold Rush is to extract as much Corrupted Loot πŸ’° as possible. To get this loot,

  • kill Monsters (gives ➑️ Corrupted Artifacts)

  • gather Resources via Mining, Gathering, Woodcutting, etc. (gives ➑️ Corrupted Curios)

  • open Treasure Chests found deep in the wilds (gives ➑️ Corrupted Gems)

Your chance to get Corrupted Artifact or Curio drops is based on two things: the Difficulty Tier of the resource or mob πŸ“Š, and your current Reward Multiplier πŸ’« which increases the longer you stay outside in a dangerous region (the Reward Multiplier resets after you go back into a safe zone).

The more dangerous a region (higher tier), the more Corrupted Loot you get.

For example, mining Adamantine Ore (Tier 4, requires level 80 mining) has a much much higher chance of earning Artifacts than mining Tin or Copper Ores (Tier 1) in safe zones.

When you return to the Capital (or any other major city), cashing these Corrupted Loot πŸ’° items to the Royal Treasury (talk to Sir Althus) will give you Coins ($$$) and Royal Favor (πŸ‘‘).

Note: An OTC contract on both Abstract and Ronin exists which allows players to arrange peer-to-peer trades of coins (gold) or other game items for ETH / RON.

Luster Value

All Corrupted Loot have a Luster value. This value starts at 100 and gradually decays to 0 over time. For example, an item that has decayed to luster value of 50 without being traded in will give only 50% of the item's base Royal Favor and Coins value. Make sure you cash in your artifacts!
